Chapter XV. Priority of Public Transport Vehicles and Passing Their Stops
123. Outside intersections, where tram tracks cross the carriageway, trams have priority over trackless vehicles, except when leaving a depot.
124. On roads with a lane for public transport vehicles, marked with signs 5.14 "Lane for public transport vehicles", 5.11.1 "Road with a lane for public transport vehicles", 5.13.1 and 5.13.2 "Exit onto a road with a lane for public transport vehicles", other vehicles are prohibited from travelling or stopping in that lane. If the lane for public transport vehicles is separated from the rest of the carriageway by broken road markings, then, when entering a road with such a lane, drivers may enter that lane provided they immediately move into the adjacent lane. It is also permitted to enter lanes with such markings to pick up or set down passengers and to turn off the road. When entering or leaving lanes marked in this way, drivers must give way to the drivers of public transport vehicles, and must not obstruct them when passengers are boarding or alighting in those lanes.
125. In built-up areas, drivers of public transport vehicles moving off from designated and marked stops have priority; however, they may move off only after ensuring that vehicles approaching in the adjacent lane do not obstruct them.
126. Drivers must not obstruct pedestrians approaching a public transport vehicle stopped at a designated stop or moving away from it on the door side, if passengers board or alight from the carriageway or from a passenger boarding platform located on the carriageway.
