Prohibitory Signs
Prohibitory signs impose or lift certain traffic restrictions. These signs are:
3.1. "No entry"
the entry of vehicles in the given direction is prohibited;
The sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
3.2. "No traffic"
the movement of all vehicles is prohibited;
The sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
The sign does not apply to vehicles driven by, or transporting, disabled persons of groups I and II;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.3. "No motor vehicles"
The sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
The sign does not apply to vehicles driven by, or transporting, disabled persons of groups I and II;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.4. "No goods vehicles"
the movement of goods vehicles and combinations of vehicles with a permissible maximum mass exceeding 3.5 t (if the mass is not indicated on the sign) or exceeding the mass indicated on the sign, as well as of tractors and self-propelled machines, is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.5. "No motorcycles"
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.6. "No tractors"
the movement of tractors and self-propelled machines is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.7. "No vehicles with trailers"
the movement of goods vehicles and tractors with any type of trailer is prohibited, as well as the towing of motor vehicles;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.8. "No horse-drawn carts"
the movement of horse-drawn carts (sleds), riding animals or pack animals, and the driving of livestock, is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.9. "No bicycles"
the movement of mopeds and bicycles is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding type of vehicles in both directions.
3.10. "No pedestrians"
The sign applies only to the side of the road on which it is placed.
3.11. "Weight limit"
the movement of vehicles (including road trains) whose total actual mass exceeds the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;
3.12. "Axle load limit"
the movement of vehicles in which the load on any axle exceeds the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;
3.13. "Height limit"
the movement of vehicles whose overall height (with or without cargo) exceeds the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;
3.14. "Width limit"
the movement of vehicles whose overall width (with or without cargo) exceeds the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;
3.15. "Length limit"
the movement of vehicles (including road trains) whose overall length (with or without cargo) exceeds the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;
3.16. "Minimum distance between vehicles"
the movement of vehicles is prohibited if the distance between them is less than the value indicated on the sign;
The sign applies from its location to the nearest intersection after it, and in built-up areas—in the absence of an intersection—up to the end of the built-up area. The application of the signs is not interrupted at U-turn locations, breaks in the median strip, exits from adjacent areas onto roads, or intersections (junctions) with field, forest and other secondary roads, if no corresponding signs are placed before them. The zone of effect may be reduced by the use of plate 8.2.1 "Zone of effect".
3.17.1. "Customs checkpoint"
passage past a customs checkpoint without stopping is prohibited;
3.17.2. "Hazard"
further movement of all vehicles is prohibited in connection with a road traffic accident, fire, emergency or other danger, with the exception of vehicles of the police, emergency medical services, rescue services and other services that have arrived for the purpose of eliminating the danger; movement may be continued only after receiving permission;
3.17.3. "Control checkpoint"
passage past a control checkpoint without stopping is prohibited;
3.18.1. "No right turn"
The sign applies to the intersection of carriageways before which the sign is placed;
the sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
3.18.2. "No left turn"
The sign applies to the intersection of carriageways before which the sign is placed;
the sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
3.19. "No U-turn"
the sign does not apply to public transport vehicles.
3.20. "No overtaking"
the performance of overtaking by all types of vehicles is prohibited. Overtaking of slow-moving vehicles, horse-drawn carts, two-wheeled motorcycles without a sidecar, mopeds and bicycles is permitted;

overtaking any type of vehicle is prohibited, except motorcycles, passenger cars, buses, and goods vehicles with a permissible maximum mass of up to 3.5 t;

3.23. "End of no-overtaking zone for goods vehicles"
3.24. "Speed limit"
movement at a speed (km/h) exceeding the value indicated on the sign is prohibited;

3.25. "End of speed limit zone"
3.26. "Use of horn prohibited"
the use of sound signals is prohibited, except in cases when they are given to prevent a road traffic accident;

3.27. "No stopping"
the stopping and parking of vehicles is prohibited;

The application of the sign is not interrupted at U-turn locations, breaks in the median strip, exits from adjacent areas onto roads, or intersections (junctions) with field, forest and other secondary roads, if no corresponding signs are placed before them.

Sign 3.27 may be applied together with road marking 1.4; in this case, the zone of effect of the signs is determined by the length of the road marking.
3.28. "No parking"
the parking of vehicles is prohibited;
The sign does not apply to vehicles driven by, or transporting, disabled persons of groups I and II, nor to special postal communication vehicles bearing the corresponding color graphics, nor to taxis with taximeter in operation. the sign applies only to the side of the road on which they are placed;

3.29. "No parking on odd-numbered days of the month"
The sign does not apply to vehicles driven by, or transporting, disabled persons of groups I and II, nor to special postal communication vehicles bearing the corresponding color graphics, nor to taxis with taximeter in operation. the sign applies only to the side of the road on which they are placed;

In the case of simultaneous application of signs 3.29 and 3.30, vehicles are moved from one side of the road to the other between 19:00 and 21:00; The sign does not apply to vehicles driven by, or transporting, disabled persons of groups I and II, nor to special postal communication vehicles bearing the corresponding color graphics, nor to taxis with taximeter in operation. the sign applies only to the side of the road on which they are placed; The sign applies from its location to the nearest intersection after it, and in built-up areas—in the absence of an intersection—up to the end of the built-up area. 3.31. "End of restrictions"
indicates the simultaneous end of the zones of effect of several of the signs 3.16, 3.20, 3.22, 3.24 and 3.26—3.30;
3.32. "No vehicles carrying dangerous goods"
the movement of vehicles equipped with the "Dangerous goods" warning sign is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding types of vehicles in both directions.
3.33. "No vehicles carrying explosive or flammable cargo"
the movement of vehicles equipped with the "Dangerous goods" warning sign and intended for the transportation of dangerous goods of classes 1, 2.2—2.4, 3.1, 3.2 and 5.2 (according to the standard) is prohibited;
the sign prohibits the movement of the corresponding types of vehicles in both directions.
